In a word, the answer is yes. Most venues supply banquet chairs, folding chairs or some kind of “unique” chair for your wedding reception. We rarely see a chair that does not need to be covered — but the key is to have the chair properly and professionally covered.
Start with the right cover
There are six different banquet chairs at venues from Fairhope to Destin that we know of, and most need their own unique size and length to hang right on the chair.
Then choose your color
White is the standard color for chair covers, but if your dream is another color, ask your wedding rental company whether they have ivory, silver or black covers that will properly fit the chairs at your venue.
Ask if they are truly clean
This is not the time to assume. Most of us assume rented chair covers will be clean and ironed — unfortunately, that is simply not the case in many instances. Ask your supplier whether covers are washed between events and whether they are ironed before each event, and get a straight answer.
Once your chair is covered, you may want to accent it with a colored sash. Marry Me Wedding Rentals carries chair sashes in a wide range of colors with matching table overlays. See our chair rentals.
