Beach wedding rules on the Emerald Coast vary by location. The Destin Area Chamber notes that Okaloosa County requires permits for events, and within Destin city limits only certain beach parks (such as Crystal Beach Park and June White Decker Beach Park) allow small permitted weddings with a limited guest count. Beachfront rental homes and private property follow the owner’s or HOA’s rules. Check with the City of Destin or Okaloosa County for current requirements, and we will plan your setup around them.
